Foam antlers patternset and tutorial E-book collection
This listing is for a set of a tutorial E-book AND digital patterns for prop antlers and horns, to be made out of EVAfoam. There's a total of 7 different antler and horn patterns in this set AND a tutorial PDF.
If you buy this listing, you can immediatly download the tutorial and patterns, scroll through all the pages of the booklet and print the patterns in your preferred paper size to make your own EVA foam antlers and horns. I suggest using 5mm thick low density EVA foam to make these horns.
Especially the deer antler patterns are more suitable for advanced crafters because they concist of quite a few pattern pieces. If you are a beginner foamsmith and still want to use this pattern set, I recommend to craft one of the easier shapes first, like the gazelle horn, and make the deer antlers after you had some experience with the material EVA foam.
This PDF file features digital blueprints of the following:
- Deer antlers
- XL deer antlers (these are really massive!)
- Roe deer antlers
- Fawn antlers (small size and large size)
- Gazelle horns (medium size and large size)
The PDF E-book describes how I did the following:
- Make patterns for antlers using clay and paper
- Make the antlers out of EVA foam
- Tips for decorating the antlers
